The oldest part of the old town of Altea is Bella Guarda, here the first houses were built a long time ago.
Within the old town there are very different locations; peace or bustle, both can be found here. In this area are properties with garages or parking spaces. Many stressed central Europeans are looking for just that as parking is at a premium during the high season. In certain areas of the old town no vehicular access is possible.
